Just BE! Newsletter - Issue 13 - "I will BE! - From Amenze to you! (Special 365 days letter!)"
Dear friends,
In the fulfillment of our life walk, or rather, God's plan and purpose for our lives, we need to understand that there are many things we can do. However, there are only few things that we really can do. Hence, the bible says, " All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient (i.e. helpful); all things are lawful for me but all things edify not" (I Corinthians 10:23). Success in life is first of all who we are (i.e. BE), then what we do as a result of discoveries of our BEing i.e. our persons.
There are many things we can do to become successful, however, only some things will actually help us to become successful in life. In the way I choose to say it, we will become voices and not echoes. The challenge then is to be able to locate the things that are truly important in the fulfillment or realization of our dreams and BEing strong enough to focus on these things by actually DOing them. Paul the apostle, speaking by the Spirit of God rightly said, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended (or arrived!): but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are before (i.e. ahead), I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3: 13,14). We can see from here also, that no matter how much success we seem to have accomplished in our calling (by calling I mean our discovered purpose i.e. whether as an interior decorator, a fashion designer, a pastor of a church, MD/CEO of a firm, a parent, a businessman, a business solutions provider etc), we must desire and continue to press ahead to the next level. There is always a next level! To enter it depends on our will power, our drive and our desires! We must will to BE! (i.e. our will must be involved in our desire to BE!).
Everyday we must tell ourselves, "No matter what I face today, I will BE! I will BE! God is on my side! He is my Father and therefore I will BE!" It will surprise us at how much progress we will make in our lives!
Friends, now and always, choose to BE! Take charge! Maximize life! Just BE!
PS:
1. Ask yourself this question and write down the answer(s) and follow them: "What must I focus on, or rather, what must I do specifically to fulfill my assignment properly?"
2. This month marks one year of Just BE! International (JBI). I praise God! He is indeed helping JBI and myself to BE! Let me give you a brief ministry update:
-JBI started as Amenze Online but was transformed as it changed from a personality centred work to a ministry work.
-JBI started with 55 names on the mailing list and as grown steadily to officially 115 names in one year!
-The JBI web pages (www.justbeinternational.blogspot.com) also came on stream. Now you can read all the letters whenever you log-on the internet!
-A God-ordained strategic alliance between JBI and Rev Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Centre, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria was also entered into. I praise God for this.
I look forward to another year of mega God-ordained exploits!
3. Listen to these words and apply them to your life:
-Know yourself (Socrates). Know your limits and your powers and BE!
-To increase your results in life, focus on your strengths and ask for God's grace to help your weaknesses.
-Start with what you have where you are! There will never be a more perfect time than now!
-Jesus Christ was first an apprentice under Joseph & Sons Furnishings. Then, He later became a joint senior partner under the same firm when Joseph died. At 30, He became an itinerant minister of God. Then, when He died and resurrected, He became the Risen King! Always find yourself busy! Never be idle!
4. Let us learn from John Mason:
-Be an authority on something!
-Take care of your purpose and the end will take care of itself.
-Those who take advantage of their advantage obtain the advantage.
-Never give up on what you know you should be doing!
-The door of opportunity won't open unless you push. Don't sit back and take what comes. Go after what you want!
(Please read "Imitation Is Limitation" by John Mason).
5. Are you having troubles locating your purpose? Do you seem not to be sure of your direction in life anymore? Please contact me. I'll be more than willing to help. After all, are we (i.e. JBI) not helpers of your purpose?
