Just BE! Newsletter-Issue 6-"I Have No Man?"

Dear friend,
The book of John chapter 5 verses 1 to 9 tells us a story about a certain man who had an infirmity, a disease, a problem, a challenge for 38 years. He was staying by a pool for 38 years where at a certain time an angel came to the pool, stirred the waters, and whoever got in first got his miracle. When Jesus Christ came to him and asked him if he wanted to be healed, his excuse went something like, "I have no man to put me into the water when the angel comes. People usually get there before me." (verse 7)
Take a look at this. For 38 years, he was at a sheep market (verse 2) where people were, since sheep don't sell sheep; yet , no miracle! For 38 years, he stayed where a great multitude of folk (i.e. people!) were, but still no miracle! Makes sense? No! His problem was not that he had no man; his problem was BAD PEOPLE INTERPERSONAL SKILLS! I guess he must have been a touchy, snobbish, "I must have the last say!", "Let me give them a piece of my mind!", proud etc kind of guy. With all these attitudes, nobody will help him to the pool.
Friends, do we have these negative attributes like this man in question? Such traits don't get a man anywhere. It will leave a man at his pool for 38 years and except God intervenes in His mercy, such a man will remain there. If we must move from where we are today to where we must be tomorrow, we must pray, fast, sow seeds, pay our tithes, praise God and also relate with people well. There is a law of relationships, which I coined. It says, "It is people that connect people to people". Remember, the Joseph you sell to the Ishmaelites today you may bow down to tomorrow. And to tell the truth, you'll only get preferential treatment tomorrow if Joseph is your bother. If you're Potiphar's wife, you'll still bow.
Also, there are certain things in life we may not enter into if we don't take the initiative to enter into some high-power relationships. But, we must be led by God's Spirit on this issue. Can I inform you? Many of the people we see today as highly influential in the society are looking for honest protégés. Take your pride away; pray to God and then make that move. That may just be the man you had waited for all these years to help you into your stirred pool of water. and guess what? The pool has already been stirred! Remember, without a Paul the Apostle, there may not be Timothy the Bishop. Change your circle of friends today if it seems like they can't aid you to BE! Also know this: many people get jobs, real estate, finances etc without hassles, but just through a relationship.
From today and henceforth, strengthen your relationships. this is one of the keys to BEing! Your miracle is a relationship away! I love you! JUST BE!
