Just BE! Newsletter-Issue 9-“Challenges To Being”

Dear friend,
“…I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38,39). Also, “…eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (I Corinthians 2:9). It is therefore evident that nothing can stop you from BE-coming all that God has planned for you, and if you will follow that path, it is bliss at the end!
In Romans 8:38, 39 (quoted above), one entity which was not mentioned that can stop you from entering into God’s plan and purpose for your life is YOU! Interesting isn’t it? Laxity, laziness, compromise, fear, shyness, weakness etc are things that can stop you from BE-coming. However, one major factor that can set us back is indecision. Success in life is a product of decisions. In fact, your deciding not to make a decision is itself a decision. That ministry, that song, that poem, that business venture, that book, that stock market investment, that real estate investment, that savings account, that life you’ve always dreamed of, that whatever, may never come to pass if you do not decide to execute it today. I believe in planning, I believe in feasibility reports, I believe in getting everything set just before the execution of a thing etc. I believe in these. But remember, ever since creation, time has not been on our side. The world is full of people who should have been, wanted to be, desired to be, planned to be, but at the end, they never put action to their decision. Go to the graveyard; a good number of such people are there.
Also, taking a lesson from the life of Jesus Christ (please read Matthew 26:36-46),
we must pray to enter into God’s plan and purpose for our lives. We must subject ourselves under God for His will to be done in our lives. One major force that may hinder us from entering into the fullness of God’s plan for our lives is family. It happened to Jesus, the Christ. Matthew 13:53-58 and John 7:1-9 tells us of the ‘opposition’ of Jesus’ family to His purpose. Jesus used the wisdom of God resident in Him to answer them. We have that same wisdom. Let us use it in such a manner that we do not shut certain doors harshly; for we may just need to open these same doors later. The path of purpose often comes with certain necessary troubles which we must accommodate. Selah.
Stay strong. Every challenge usually comes with itself, a way, by which it can be surmounted. You’ve got what it takes to overcome all your challenges to BEing. Live a fulfilled life. Stay the course, no matter what. Make God your partner, and verily, you will get there.
I love you, but God loves you more! JUST BE!
